Rose McGill Holiday Sharing

The Holiday Program of the Kappa Kappa Gamma Foundation is a “family” support system for current Rose McGill Confidential Aid recipients, especially at holiday times. Alumnae associations, chapters or individuals members may participate in making the holidays a happier time for those members in need.

Our 2019 Holiday Rose Recipient

This year, the Atlanta Alumnae Association has been selected to support Ariana. She is a Junior in pursuit of a degree in Psychology. She is also a first generation college student, with a younger sister in college and a brother in 8th grade. She receives financial assistance during the school year, and works two jobs part-time. Over the summer she had two jobs, however one was de-funded which created a significant gap in expense money. She took on babysitting jobs and sold personal items in order to make ends meet. Ariana turned to Rose McGill for a Confidential Undergraduate Grant during the summer in order to meet expenses while continuing to look for additional work.
